Just thought I would add a note to say Chapter 5 has been added . It took me a while to do it as I wasn’t sure how I wanted the story to go.

Anyway I hope you like. I should have Chapter 6 up very soon.

A new chapter has been added at last. I know I know, it took me long enough.

I think the story in my legacy is finally starting to develop. I have some ideas for how it will go, although I do tend to just let my sim play her life how she wants to as well. Just influencing her ever so slightly here and there.

I will try to get Chapter 5 up soon.

I finally have some time to carry on playing my legacy. So hopefully should have a new chapter up in the next couple of days. I got distracted with building lots and well you know how it is lol.

Just incase anyone is wondering why I haven’t updated my legacy for the last couple of days, it is because I have been working on my entry for week 9 Build N Share Challenge, if you look at my sim creations page, you will be able to see my entry.

What is a Legacy Challenge?

The legacy challenge was create by a simmer named Pinstar.

It is basically a long, 10-generation challenge where you start out with a single founder and very humble beginnings and try to lead the family to fame, fortune and success over the course of 10 generations. You can read his full rules here: The Sims 3 Legacy Challenge

Some extreme simmers stick to the rules entirely, some create their own set of rules as they move further into the story of their legacy family. I personally prefer the latter also. The choice is entirely up to the individual.

so incase there is someone that happens to wonder onto my page and who may be asking – What is the Sims? (I am hoping there is not many people that would ever ask that)

The Sims is a strategic life-simulation computer game developed by Maxis and published by Electronic Arts. It was created by game designer Will Wright, also known for developing SimCity. It is a simulation of the daily activities of one or more virtual persons (“Sims“) in a suburban household near SimCity.

The Sims was first released on February 4, 2000. By March 22, 2002, The Sims had sold more than 6.3 million copies worldwide, making it the best-selling PC game in history;^[1] the game has shipped 16 million copies worldwide as of February 7, 2005.^[2] Since its initial release, seven expansion packs and a sequel, The Sims 2 (with its own expansion packs), have been released. A third game, The Sims 3, was released June 2, 2009. Overview

The Sims focuses entirely on the lives of “Sims“, placing the player in control of their virtual “world” and their daily activities, such as sleeping, eating, reading, and bathing. Will Wright, the game’s designer, calls it a “digital funhouse”^{[citation needed]}. Although players are encouraged to make their own characters, certain pre-made characters, such as the Newbie and Goth family, have become popular.

The player controls almost all aspects of the lives of a family, either premade or self-created, sometimes being referred to as a “God“. Many choices lead a player’s sim to a large household or a single life.
