Gen 1 – Alice

After leaving Britain for a new and adventurous life. Alice Grosvenor arrives in Riverview on 23rd July 2009, with her life savings in her pocket, she searches the town for a vacant lot and finds the perfect place to start her life.
This place she will now call home is 345 Riverblossom Hills Drive. The purchase doesn’t leave her with much money for anything else. But she knows she can make a good life here and even if she has to sleep it rough for her while, at least it is hers. She has wonderful visions of her life to come here and for the first time in many years since the death of her parents. She feels happy.
Now all she has to do is find a job and buy a few essentials to keep her going.
As she wonders around her new place called home, she wonders to herself what the people of Riverview are like, will they welcome her to their town, she really does hopes so.
It isn’t long before Alice is snapped out of her little daydream thinking about what her life is going to be like here to the sound of a child whistling behind her getting closer and closer.

“Hi there” said a little voice, as Alice turns around to see who it is “I am Catrina Guildry, I am just dropping this off” handing to Alice the local paper. “You must be new here” said the little girl inquisitively.
“Yes” said Alice intrigued by the little friendly girl in front of her “I have just arrived here today”.
“Oh, I like your accent” said Catrina “I’ve never heard an accent like that before” she giggles. “Well I must dash, I have lots more papers to deliver and mum wants me home pretty sharpish to help out with some chores around the house. I am sure I will see you again though”
“Well it was lovely meeting you Catrina” said Alice as she offers out her hand to the little girl. They shake and both smile with an interested look in their eye.
Just as Catrina is running off to deliver her next paper, she turns around to face Alice again and shouts “Oh and Welcome to Riverview, you will love it here I am sure” and before Alice can say anything in return, the little girl has disappeared down the street.
Yep Alice thought to herself. I am most definately going to LOVE it here
